Welcome to my home in Cyberspace….

Since 2001, I have been a music professor at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ, overseeing the music business program and teaching songwriting, performance, and music history to a new generation of talented musicians. I am currently working towards my PhD at New York University researching the role of popular music in music education.

My musical adventures have taken me from the underground rock clubs of Los Angeles performing with the bands
Andy and the Rattlesnakes, Urban Artillery and Blazing Wheel to the foothills of the Himalayas studying and performing with the musicians of Nepal.

At Riverspace Arts in Nyack, I am a member of the steering committee, helping to realize our mission of “building community through the arts”. I am the co-host of Songwriters by the River, a monthly series dedicated to art of songwriting. Please bookmark this site for updates on concert appearances, recordings, and educational presentations.

Thanks for stopping by, Andy
